Wall Vases
This is a series of wall-hung vessels. I call the series “Pohue” which is the Hawaiian place name for one of my most cherished areas of the island of Hawaii. The textures and colors of Pohue: the ocean, the ponds, the huge stones, the lava, the wind-blown trees intrigue me, are a part of my consciousness, and have inspired the textures, colors and forms you will see in the series. ‘ILIKAI means “surface of the water” and is the name for the first stage of the series. The textures are evocative of the ocean, ponds and seashells of Pohue. Each piece is waterproof and can be used for floral displays. Prices include shipping and insurance.
